 SENSORY SUMMER

The NY Metro Chapter of the National Autism Association, in partnership with Watch Me Grow, is proud to again offer summer programs for children with autism spectrum disorders during the last two weeks of August 2014.

The New York City Explorers will take place during the week of August 18-22, 2014, during the summer break between school sessions.  The program will be a fun and therapeutic program in a caring and sensory sensitive environment and will focus on cultural outings in Manhattan, including various museums.  This program is for children between the ages of 12 and 15.

The group will meet at Watch Me Grow, a sensory gym equipped to provide sensory motor activities located at 162 West 72nd, Suite 5, Street, New York, NY 10023.  The children will meet at the gym, visit a museum or other cultural site and then reconvene at the gym to recap the day.  Highly trained staff will promote socialization among the participants with a 2:1 child-to-staff ratio.

The fee for the one week session is only $150.  The balance of the program is made possible by the generosity of our supporters.

When:  August 18-August 22, 2014

This one week program will be held Monday-Friday 8:30a to 2:30p
