Call-In Day to Ask U.S. Senate to Support Early Learning!

Background:

Early childhood education is critical to school readiness and school success.  On September 18, advocates in Washington, DC are playing a giant game of early learning-themed Chutes and Ladders on the ground of the U.S. Capitol to draw attention to the need for increased federal funding for early childhood education.  While the game is happening, people around the nation will be calling their Senators to show their support for early learning.

Take Action:

Call Senators Schumer and Gillibrand and ask them to increase funding for early childhood education.

Senator Charles Schumer – 202-224-6542

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand – 202-224-4451

Sample script: My name is _____ and I live in ____, New York.  I urge Senator ____ to support increased federal funding for early learning.  Thank you.
