Please join the NYC Citizen Corps for its upcoming 2014 Special Needs Symposium: Leveraging Community Partnerships in Emergency Planning and Response.

The Symposium will actively engage participants in a discussion around leveraging community partnerships in emergency planning and response for special needs communities.  Attendees will learn from a panel discussion showcasing creative strategies and best practices for serving clients before, during, and after an emergency through the use of community networks and partnerships.  Participants will also have the opportunity to develop their own strategies with their peers during interactive breakout sessions following the panel.

This event is open to service providers, consumers, and advocates who are involved in emergency planning for people with special needs. This symposium is the third installment hosted by the NYC Citizen Corps. More information on this event and other programming and can be found here
