Jan 9: A Parent’s Guide to Supporting
Executive Function Skills in Children

One of the newest discoveries in child development is the importance of executive function, a set of cognitive abilities responsible for self-monitoring, planning, organizing, and emotional regulation. Executive function is also critical for social development, family relationships, and academic success. This talk will include a discussion of how current research can help parents and teachers make wise decisions to help foster strong executive function in children from infancy to young adulthood.
