Current Trends in the Pharmacological Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders

Dr. Alexander Kolevzon will be presenting on current trends in the pharmacological treatment of ASD and associated symptoms. Join us to discuss the changing conceptualization of the genetics of ASD and how genetic discovery is leading to the development of novel therapeutics. The lecture will also cover the treatment of associated symptoms in ASD as well as the shifting focus to target the core domain of social impairment.

Weekly Family Art

Children will have an opportunity to enjoy various projects in each class, including painting, drawing, making collages, and more. Take this opportunity to create art together as a family.Projects will vary by week.

Support Groups for Parents of Adult Children with Learning Disabilities + Other Developmental Delays

Parents of adult children face issues and concerns related to the independent activities of daily life, job support, housing and the future goals of their children raising questions about “what happens when I’m gone”. This group will provide an opportunity for parents to come together in a small group format, share resources and experiences, problem solve, gain support and build community.Please call Hannah Cohen at 646.505.4460, for a brief intake. Limited scholarships are available.

Tech Kids Unlimited:
A Mini-Tech Workshop for Kids with Special Needs
Ages 9-15

Tech kids unlimited is a program for students with learning differences who are taught 21st century tech skills. This workshop will focus on digital dice games. Students will create a trading card game similar to UNO. They will then take their analog trading card game and turn it into a digital game online.
