New York Transit Museum hosting a Special Day for Special Kids

Dear Special Needs Advocates:

The New York Transit Museum will be hosting a Special Day for Special Kids this Sunday, February 10th from 10am-2pm with free admission and fun activities all day long for special needs families! This popular event is all about embracing special needs families in a cultural environment where they feel welcome and wanted. Games, art projects and musical performances will be offered. A quiet room will also be available for breaks from the excitement. From 10am to 11am, special needs families will have exclusive use of the Museum before it opens to the public. Please help us spread the word about this great event!

The Transit Museum is located on the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn Heights. A wheelchair lift operated by Museum staff is available on the corner of Court Street and Schermerhorn Street. Please call (718) 694-1823 in advance for assistance.
