Theatre Rehabilitation for Youth (TRY) has opened a performing school (ACT)  for young people on the autism spectrum, 14-24 years of age, which includes singing, dancing and acting, taught by professionals in each field.  Enrollees  must be able to participate in the program, which will culminate in a performance. The classes will teach skills that can be applied to other disciplines, build self-confidence, improve self-image, be entertaining and encourage socialization.  ACT will run for 25 weeks, on Thursdays, from 4:30 to 5:30, in the meeting hall at All Saints Episcopal Church, 2329 Victory Blvd.  The fee is $15.00 a session for a total of $375.00.  Please respond asap as every thing is in place to begin the program now.
For any further information or enrollment, please call Pearl Minsky, 718-983-1990.
